Fifteen days have now passed since the arrival of Huan Huan and Yuan Zi at Beauval. Have they settled in? How are they? What are they doing?… At the moment, the pandas are spending their time getting their bearings and generally settling in to their new home, before meeting the visitors for the first time on the 11th of February.
Under the watchful eye of their keepers and veterinarians, they are gradually exploring their facilities. Yuan Zi has already set about marking his territory, while Huan Huan has been inspecting every nook and cranny of her new home. Both of the pandas dine on the fresh bamboo shoots that are given to them each day… giving them lots of energy for the big day! Only 15 days to go!…
